TV’s least avuncular uncle returns to our screens tomorrow night – Tuesday February 10th – on BBC3 at 10pm.
The first of six episodes in Uncle series 2 sees Andy, the uncle, and Errol, his nephew, having to sneak around to spend time together – thanks to a restraining order.
Our client borough Croydon plays home to much of this series, just as it did the first time around. Look out for the plaza between George Street and College Road, a chase scene around the Thornton Heath Industrial Estate, shots around Surrey Street Market, Cockney’s pie and mash shop on Frith Street, and The Green Shop and Porto Nuovo restaurant on the High Street.
Interiors included the Hustler Club in Crown Hill, inside buildings on Harold Road and Sydenham Road and a home in Smitham Downs Road in Purley.
