News has been circulating about a far-reaching OpenSSL vulnerability called Heartbleed which makes it possible for third-parties to access data – even though the data was believed to be secure and encrypted as it passed between a web browser and a server.
The security of all FilmApp’s client data is critically important to us.
We would like to reassure all our clients that our film officer sites are not in danger, as they pass through a load balancer using custom SSL/TLS libraries that were not vulnerable to the attack.
Many websites have been recommending that customers change their passwords as a safety measure.
We agree that for many sites you store data with, this is good practice. However, in the case of FilmApp accounts, there is no need for adjustments.
