Posted on 10th December 2014 by FilmFixer

Where’s Santa going to park his sleigh? Where will the party people dance? Where will the secret lovers huddle to see New Year’s fireworks? Yes, it’s December – you’ll be needing rooftops and balconies.

Croydon Clocktower
As the big hand strikes…

Big Ben has not cornered the market; film your rooftop party as the clock strikes midnight just a few feet away. From the balcony you’re above the rooftops of Croydon and beyond. Inside, the period features give your intimate party scene a further historical flourish.

Croydon Town Hall’s historic clock tower was finished in 1896 – in Kentish red bricks, Portland stone dressings and green Westmoreland roof slates.

The 18-storey, 1960s housing estate is on New Kent Road in Southwark, central London.
